Although Sudbury Art Studios is in a beautifully well groomed private setting, it is only a half hour car ride from Boston and five minutes from shops to pick up any necessities.
Beautiful nature paths are near by for running and bicycling, or to just take a leisurely walk. Sudbury is a popular spot for bird watching, dining, and live music. We also have the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and the Boston Bruins. Basketball legend Shaquelle O’Neal lives in Sudbury, as well as Johnathan McPhee, the conductor for the Boston Ballet. The city of Boston is one of the most magnificent cities in the world encompassing the old and new with a fascinating history….Longfellow’s poem “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” Is one example. Boston has the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Charles River in the middle. Not only are our museums and sports teams fabulous, but it is wonderfully educational with a multitude colleges including The New England Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, Harvard University and MIT just to mention a few. “Bean Town” has a unique personality. Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts has an unbelievable new American wing and the Isabelle Stuart Gardner Museum, Fogg and many Harvard museums. In 4 hours you can be in NYC by bus or train.
